The five Top Tier concepts in the CEETI evaluation are described sequentially below in the context of the framework presented above. (N.B. The 14 system concepts evaluated by the dozen Review Team Members were lettered "A" through "N"; the letters for the following systems correspond to the letter used in the CEETI report. As noted above, CEETI declined to identify any of the concepts by name in order to avoid commercializing their study. However, the specific identities have been identified here by comparing the characteristics for a given system in the CEETI report with information publicly available about those systems.)
